70 yrs old lady who is a known case of rheumatoid arthritis with severe hand and foot deformities came to us with right hip pain and difficulty in standing following a fall at home. Rheumatoid arthritis makes the bones weaker and more prone to fracture. Her x-ray showed a hip fracture for which she underwent hip fracture fixation with a rod. Now after the operation, she became pain-free and again started walking with a walker. She is happily discharged now. We routinely performed such complex surgeries at Sant Parmanand Hospital.
