Complex primary uncemented Hip Replacement
A 40 yrs old gentleman came to us with complaints of hip pain and not able to walk following an accident occurred 6 months back. He sustained complex trauma around pelvis with bladder injuries. He was treated with bladder repair and conservatively for pelvis at that time. Now his pelvis xray showed right sided damaged hip joint with discontiuity of posterior column with some fibrosis around anterior column and pubis diastasis. Thus he planned for uncemented hip replacement with stabilization of column with bone grafting impaction to lateralize the cup. Pubis diastasis was not mobile so left as such. Post op xray showed well stabilized Posterior column with uncemented THR. Now his pain has gone, in bed mobilization has been started.
