The middle age gentleman came with a history of roadside accidents with sustained injury in his right hip region. He was having severe right hip pain and was unable to walk. His x-ray and ct scan showed an anterior column fracture acetabulum. He underwent anterior column fracture fixation with a plate using the AIP approach. These complex injuries required meticulous surgical planning and special skills to work in close vicinity of great nerves and vessels. Articular reduction and hip joint congruency are of utmost importance for great outcomes and to avoid hip arthritis(Joint preservation surgery). We routinely performed such complex procedures with great results.
