Another patient came to us with a right hip acetabular fracture after 17 days of the injury. He was unable to walk and was denied by many hospitals intervention. His X-ray showed a transverse fracture element with displacement and medialization of the femoral head, a complex acetabular fracture. These fractures required special surgical training to work in the close vicinity of great major vessels. Articular reduction with concentric hip reduction is the key factor for head preservation and optimal results. He underwent fracture fixation with plates and column screws and articular reduction done and supported with another screw. Now the patient is comfortable and can walk without weight bearing with support and has been discharged. We routinely performed such complex surgeries at Parmanand special surgery hospital.
